Whether you are evaluating an effusion, or a lymph node aspirate, our cytology service is designed to deliver the diagnostic confidence you need to move forward with treatment quickly and decisively.
Accepted Sample Types

If you have already prepared slides, please send 3 to 4 air-dried, unstained slides with thin smears of cells from the suspected neoplastic case along with the FNA and blood samples.

Through your account on our Vet Portal, select services needed. Provide information about your patient and samples on our online portal.
Pack the slides and then ship them to EVP using the boxes or padded envelopes and FedEx labels provided.
If you are ordering blood smears or fluid analysis, please put an ice pack in the box to keep it fresh.

The cytology report is sent to the ordering veterinarian via secure email within 1 business day. Cytology reports are delivered to you on Mondays through Fridays.
